Exercise Protocols

As part of a new series, here are some example exercise protocols to enable physical performance measurement. More exercises will be continually added.



  • 90 90 Test - Used to measure hamstring range of motion and presence of possible hamstring contracture
  • Lunge - Lower body weight training exercise used to strengthen and improve mobility at the knees, ankles, hips & abdomen.
  • Overhead Press - Upper body weight training exercise mainly used to develop the anterior deltoid muscles of the shoulder.
  • Overhead Squat - Full body exercise that increases strength and joint mobility, and supports muscular balance
  • Thomas Test -  Used for measuring hip flexibility in athletes and patients
